We are delighted to announce that we have received funding of £19,425 from the Theatres Trust’s Theatres Improvement Scheme in association with the Wolfson Foundation to begin important upgrades to our lighting systems at the Broadway Theatre.

The Theatres Trust’s support means that we can start to replace our existing Tungsten Halogen lighting with environmentally friendly LEDs. This funding marks the beginning of our ambitious campaign to replace both our lighting rigs completely by 2030.

Not only will this reduce our impact to the environment and help us work toward our carbon neutral aims as a borough, but it also helps the Broadway to be a more flexible venue for our communities, with lower running costs helping us to support more community programming. We are incredibly grateful to the Theatres Trust for their support.
