Organ Recital Series
The second recital in this historic organ series highlights the 1932 Compton and its rich, symphonic voice. Renowned for its orchestral range of colour and depth, the organ brings a unique dimension to the programme, performing with the breadth and power of a full orchestra.
A special highlight is its collaboration with international concert pianist Slava Antipov in Piano Concerto No. 2 (Rachmaninoff), presented in a compelling arrangement for piano and organ. The recital is completed by a selection of evocative classical works, offering a vivid showcase of the instrument’s versatility and grandeur
