Nouveau Nights

Nouveau Nights is an evening of celebration, this time we are celebrating the opening of The Broadway, Catford. A night of joy, reflection, hope and of course, music, to celebrate five years since Nouveau Riche began.

This year, we have singer / songwriters performing their own work and popular 90s R&B covers from 7.30pm onwards. Hosting in evening is Nouveau Riche’s associate director Ewa Dina, with performances by Sarah Isabella, Abby Asabea, Tashinga Bepete and Andro.

Ticket includes entry to Nouveau Nights and an afterparty.

Andro (he/they)

Andro is looking upwards with one arm held against their body and the other pointing against their chin. They have black lace covering their forearms and hands.

London Based, Liverpool born - Singer/Songwriter, Producer and Actor, ANDRO, was previously a member of the Mercury Prize nominated band, JUNGLE. Appearing on many world stages such as Glastonbury Festival, Coachella Festival and headlining sold out shows at Alexandra Palace and O2 Brixton Academy. ANDRO now embarks on his solo career, currently campaigning their latest releases from their 2nd EP 'Conflict'. Gaining support from publications such as; CLASH, Wonderland, Notion Magazines and more and landing Featured Artist of the Week on BBC Introducing London. Also an actor, who trained at renowned school Drama Centre London, ANDRO saw 4 star reviews from his role as Dorian Gray in Reading Reps Premiere of new writing DORIAN by RSCs Owen Horsley and Phoebe Eclair-Powell.

ANDRO is marked to be one of the most promising and unique, queer artists from the UK.

Sarah Isabella

Singer/songwriter Sarah Isabella touches the scene with a mesmerizing serving of soul. Influenced by the likes of Sade Adu, Nina Simone, Fleetwood Mac, Jill Scott and more; SI travels between the soundscapes of soul, Alt R'n'B, jazz, and hip hop with “velvety vocals that light up with intelligent lyricism” to create her own authentic sound.

Abby Asabea

Ghanaian East Londoner, Abby Asabea beautifully merges her eclectic taste, poignant writing style and unique vocals to create a modern homage to classic sounds. While Abby is fresh on the London music scene, she has become one of the first recipients of Youth Music’s Next Gen Fund. Her soon to be released musical debut ‘I don’t hate you (I love me)’ will see a 6 track EP, with a wide range of musical influences. It will tell the story of self-growth and discovery in the midst of heartbreak, while sending a message of empowerment and healing. 

Tashinga Bepete

Tashinga Bepete is an actor, and a music artist and producer who goes by the name of Beyxnd Tash. He mostly produces his own music from start to finish; and uses his music as a catalyst to figure out who he is beyond what is presented and express what that feels like in that moment.

His acting credits include,The Railway Children Returns (Studio Canal), BatGirl (DC/Warner Bros.), Red Rose (BBC/Netflix), Sex Education S4 (Netflix), Tempest (The Pleasance Theatre) and various voiceover roles in video games and commercials.
