Follow Shrek, a grumpy but kind-hearted ogre who enjoys his quiet life in a swamp - until a group of fairy-tale creatures are banished there by the villainous Lord Farquaad. To reclaim his home, Shrek sets off on a quest to rescue Princess Fiona, joined by his talkative companion, Donkey.
